YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSS! We are finally coming for you Northern babes!
We are so, SO excited to be able to tell you that Rock the Frock Cheshire will be OPENING mid-September! That's just SIX WEEKS away!
Sorry for all the caps, but we are EXCITED!
When we first began to entertain the idea of opening more Rock the Frock boutiques, the North West was waaaay up high on our list of dream locations - so this has been a long time coming! Our newest RTF boutique will be in Bramhall, Cheshire. YAY!
Rock the Frock Cheshire will be open Wednesday-Sunday, every week, with late night opening on Thursdays. You will be able to try on, and fall in love with, dresses and separates from Lucy Can't Dance, MilaMira, Muscat Bridal and Otaduy - designers who, may we add, are EXCLUSIVE to Rock the Frock!
In this blog, we'll be talking to Helen, owner of RTF Cheshire and now a much loved member of Team RTF, and revealing some of the INCREDIBLE dresses she will be stocking!
A sneak peak of the Otaduy dresses that will be available at Rock the Frock Cheshire, when they open - this autumn!!
We spoke to Helen earlier this week (when she got the keys to the boutique!! Eeee!) and asked her to tell you guys a little bit about herself and why it is she wanted to be involved with Rock the Frock. Here is what she had to say...
"I have been following Rock the Frock on Instagram for over 3 years. When I was planning my own wedding, I looked to Rock the Frock for inspiration and wished there were similar bridal options in the North West that had the same feel and ethos
Prior to starting my journey with Rock the Frock, I launched my own bridal specific cosmetic company in 2014, called Love Honour and Be True, designing & and manufacturing a line of lipsticks inspired by brides for their big day. We had some great success; being used by make-up artists nationwide, featuring in blogs & magazines and even having our lipsticks worn down the catwalk at London Bridal Fashion Week. And it was here my dream of owning a bridal boutique started.
At Bridal Fashion Week I met lots of boutique owners who were there to buy dresses for the next season; speaking and listening to them whilst watching the latest designs parade up and down the runway was all the inspiration I needed, and from that moment on I knew this was going to be my future.
Rock the Frock Cheshire will also house these beauties from Lucy Can't Dance
My initial research into opening a new shop in the North West made me realise that there was a lot of competition and many boutiques were offering similar styles of dresses. I knew I needed something different; I wanted to provide bride-to-bes with the same feel, style and values as the Rock the Frock brand I followed online. In 2017 I saw an Instagram advert for franchises with Rock the Frock and I immediately got in touch, but at that time we couldn’t get all the pieces to fit perfectly. However, in January 2018 I made contact with Karen to start talking again about a shop in the North West, and this time everything was set perfectly.
I came to the Essex boutique for a preliminary meeting and the flagship in Chelmsford was even better and cooler (if that is even possible) than I had imagined. I knew I had made the right decision and had never been so excited – all I needed was for Karen to put her trust in me and believe, as I did, that I would be the right person for opening Rock the Frock in the North West.
Cheshire will be another EXCLUSIVE stockist of Leanne Marshall, too!
8 months later, all my beautiful sample dresses are on order and the shop is in the process of being fitted out. It is a dream come true. My aim is to make Rock the Frock Cheshire the destination for all brides who are ethically conscious individuals who want to show off their amazing personalities and to have the perfect bridal experience in a relaxed, contemporary, non-traditional setting. As Cheshire girl born and raised I am proud to be bringing Rock the Frock to Bramhall and I am so excited to meet all of you gorgeous brides to be!"
We are chuffed to bits to have Helen joining this wonderful team that is Rock the Frock and we KNOW that she is going to look after you lovely lot in true RTF style once her brand new boutique opens this autumn!
And P.S... there's ANOTHER big announcement coming soon!! These are exciting times for you awesome, alternative bridal babes!
Rock the Frock Cheshire will be stocking Leanne Marshall, Lucy Can't Dance, MilaMira, Muscat Bridal & Otaduy.
